Smoothie recipes have so much potential! You can combine a wide variety of ingredients, add a splash of liquid, something frozen and something sweet and viola! You have yourself something magical and cool. Here are 2 berry smoothie recipes that are great for summer breakfast, lunch or snacks. Also- I have made a couple smoothies for dinners when I didn’t know what I wanted but had to eat something!

As I wrote in a previous post about my Green Smoothie recipe, there can be a lot of nutritional value to your smoothies. You don’t always have to go with the sweetest ingredients. But here is a quick list of things you might want to add to your next smoothie- fresh or frozen.

Three Ingredient Berry Smoothie

3 Easy Ingredients! The Premier protein shake makes this smoothie 32 oz total but I drink from a 16 oz cup. It’s sweet and delicious!

  • 2 cups Triple berry blend form Costco
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Premier protein shake
  • Makes 32 oz of smoothie, I drank a 16 oz cup

Blackberry & Honey Smoothie Recipe

Blackberry & Honey Smoothie

Combine protein shake with Greek yogurt and whatever fresh berries you have in the fridge!

  • 1/4 cup blackberries 
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 
  • 2-3 tbs of honey (or to sweeten) 🍯 
  • 3 tbs mixed nut butter 
  • 1 cup of ice 🧊 
  • ~1/4 cup of unsweetened, vanilla almond milk or milk of choice 🥛

Green Smoothie with Spinach and Avocado

Sounds like it might be gross with the smoothie and strange bitter flavor that sometimes accompanies an avocado- but bananas are a great sweetener and mellows it out.
