Bake for 30-35 minutes in a bread pan OR make a loaf and bake on a baking sheet. I opt for the former, but my husband says the latter. 😉
Mashed Potatoes: put cleaned baby dutch potatoes in the pot of cold water and boil until soft. Strain potatoes.
Melt ~2 TBS of butter and then add the potatoes back to the pot. Mash with a potato masher or immersion blender. *I've never done it before, but you can also make mashed potatoes with a Kitchen Aid mixer, using the paddle. Kitchen Aid Mixers can be used for basically everything....
Add up to 1/4 cup of milk to soften the potatoes and mix everything well until the potatoes are as soft or lumpy as you want them. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
