Low Carb Cheesy Bread Rolls

  • Air Fryer


  • 1 cup of plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup of self-rising flour
  • 1 Egg
  • See Notes Below for Optional Additions


  • Pour the 1 cup of Greek yogurt
  • Slowly add the flour and stir until fully mixed
  • Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead with hands until you can form a ball. If still sticky- see Notes below.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces
  • Add Parmesan cheese to the small balls of dough
  • Transfer to a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Preheat Air fryer to 350- run at 350 for 10 minutes
  • Make an egg wash by blending an egg and adding a small amount of water- about 1/2 TBS
  • Coat the rolls with the egg wash
  • Optional: Top rolls with more cheese, salt and pepper
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Check after 15 minutes
  • Let cool 5 minutes


  • Total 4 TBS Parmesan cheese (this recipe)
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Butter
  • Minced garlic (not in this post)
  • Other sort of cheese
  • Any other sort of seasoning to match your meal!
  • If the dough is still sticky, slowly add flour to the dough. Usually 1/2 TBS at a time is helpful.
  • Gently roll the dough. This dough recipe is not like other dough recipes that use normal flour.
  • You might want to try rubbing your palms in olive oil to prevent the dough sticking to your hands
